Terms and Conditions

1. General.

These terms and conditions (the "Terms") apply to the use of the website (the "Website") and the services provided by Cleaning Horizon ("Cleaning Horizon", "we", "us", or "our"). By using the Website or the services provided by Cleaning Horizon, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use the Website, or the services provided by Cleaning Horizon. Cleaning Horizon reserves the right to make amendments to these conditions without giving prior notice.

2. Services.

Cleaning Horizon provides residential and commercial cleaning services to customers. Our services include, but are not limited to, standard cleaning, deep cleaning, move-in/move-out cleaning, and post construction cleaning. We reserve the right to add, modify, or discontinue services at any time without notice. To provide you with the best possible service, please ensure the following: Make your home accessible. If you plan on being home during a scheduled clean, please ensure you are prepared to provide the cleaner with timely access to your home. If you are not going to be home during a scheduled clean, please ensure that you arrange a method to access your home when you initially schedule your clean with Cleaning Horizon. Additionally, please note, cleaners follow a set order to guarantee efficiency and completeness when completing cleans. If you want them to clean specific areas first or in a different sequence, it will take more time. We are willing to provide this service upon request, but you must notify us before the cleaning so we can plan for the extra time. All special requests are subject to additional fees. Turn off alarm systems. If you choose to leave the alarm armed, we are always diligent and careful to disarm and rearm the alarm according to your instructions. However, we will not be held responsible for false alarms or misuse of the alarm system, including charges from a local police department or security company or other charges related to an activated alarm. No exceptions. Additionally, you agree to hold harmless and/or release from liability Cleaning Horizon from any and all liability relating to any failure of the alarm or not arming the alarm properly. Remove clutter and prepare your property for cleaning. Cleaners will be able to provide more efficient, better quality cleaning if clutter is removed from the areas of your home that you want cleaned. For example, countertops, desks, or other surfaces should be de-cluttered before your scheduled clean. Extra Work. Additional fees may apply if cleaners require more time to complete scheduled cleans. For example, this could occur if your home has not been adequately prepared for a scheduled clean or if a job is underestimated due to the condition of your home. Please note, cleaners are not equipped to clean fire damage, bug infestations, bodily fluids, or extensive grease. If a cleaner does not feel safe in your home or environment during a scheduled clean, they will leave the property. Equipment and Supplies. Cleaners will all be equipped with the necessary equipment and supplies to complete cleaning jobs. However, if you have any specific equipment or products that you want used on your property, please let us know in advance so we can accommodate your request. Provide us with feedback. We are always looking for ways to better serve our customers at Cleaning Horizon, so we encourage our customers to provide us with feedback about the service(s) they received. After a clean is completed, you will be sent a short feedback survey via text. Additionally, customers are always welcome to call our office directly at 778-401-4495.

3. Breakage and Damage Policy.

Cleaners will take great care to avoid breaking items during our services, but accidents can happen. At Cleaning Horizon, we have liability insurance. Our contract cleaners also have their own liability insurance for the replacement or repair of damaged items but cannot guarantee identical replacement. We ask that customers remove or secure any valuable or fragile items before the service, as we cannot be held responsible for damages caused by our services. For example, this may include but is not limited to cash, jewelry, or any other items of value. Any damage must be reported to our office within 2 business days of service or Cleaning Horizon may not be held liable. We also cannot be held responsible for damage caused by general wear and tear, faulty or improper installation, or lack of maintenance. Cleaning Horizon is not responsible for any damages that may occur after the cleaners have left the premises.

4. Appointments and Cancellations.

4.1 Appointments for our services can be booked via our website or over the phone. Please note that appointment slots are based on current availability, and we maintain the discretion to reject or reschedule bookings as necessary. Once your appointment has been arranged, we will confirm the date and time either through email or a phone call. To cancel or change your appointment, please notify us no later than 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment. Failure to do so, or inability to provide access to the premises for cleaning, will result in the loss of your $100 booking deposit.

4.2 For move-out cleaning services, please be aware that cancelling on the day of the service will incur the full service charge.

4.3 For recurring clients, if the cancels happens on  the same day as the scheduled appointment, the card on file will be charged to 50% of the value of the cleaning charge.

5. Payment.

These Payment Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") constitute an integral part of the terms and conditions governing the use of Cleaning Horizon's services. By engaging Cleaning Horizon ("Provider"), you ("Client") explicitly consent to the following terms pertaining to automatic credit card payments for outstanding invoices:

5.1 Payment Due Date: All invoices issued by Cleaning Horizon come with a specified payment due date, as indicated on the invoice.

5.2. Automatic Payment Trigger: Failure to remit payment by the designated due date will activate the automatic payment process.

5.3 Automatic Payment Timing: Automatic payments will be processed at 12:00 PM (noon) on the day following the original due date.

5.4 Credit Card Authorization: By availing Cleaning Horizon's services, the Client grants explicit authorization for securely storing their credit card information exclusively for facilitating automatic payment processing.

5.5 Notification: Clients will receive a pre-due date reminder, providing an opportunity to make a manual payment.

5.6 Failed Automatic Payment: In the event of a declined or unsuccessful automatic payment, Cleaning Horizon will promptly inform the Client to rectify the matter.

5.7 Payment Confirmation: Upon successful execution of the automatic payment, an email confirmation, inclusive of an updated invoice, will be dispatched to the Client.

5.8 Disputes: Should a Client dispute an automatic payment, they must notify Cleaning Horizon within five (5) business days from the automatic payment date for resolution.

5.9 Amendments: Cleaning Horizon reserves the right to modify these Payment Terms and Conditions when necessary, with prior written notice to Clients.


Your agreement to these Payment Terms and Conditions denotes your understanding and acceptance of the automatic credit card payment process, as outlined above.

6. Refunds.

We do not provide any refunds for services that have been completed. However, if you are not satisfied with the quality of the service, we ask that you contact us within 48 hours of receiving the service. We will review your complaint and dispatch a cleaner free of charge to re-clean or touch up any area(s) in question.

7. Indemnification.

You agree to indemnify and hold Cleaning Horizon, harmless from any loss, liability, claim, or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your use of the Website or the services provided by Cleaning Horizon, in violation of these Terms or in violation of any law or the rights of any third party.

8. Governing Law.

These Terms and your use of the Website and the services provided by Cleaning Horizon shall be construed in accordance with and governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the laws of Canada applicable in such province.

9. Dispute Resolution.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Website or the services provided by Cleaning Horizon shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the Province of British Columbia and the laws of Canada applicable in such province.


10. Entire Agreement.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Cleaning Horizon regarding the use of the Website and the services provided by Cleaning Horizon.
